SOOM FOODS Tahini Products Recall

As of November 29, 2018 we received the official statement from Soom Foods linked below for your use.

Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative has informed us that there has been a Soom Foods product recall for ALL TAHINI PRODUCTS with the below lot #s. We currently carry these items and have removed it from the shelves & overstock.

This recall has been initiated due to a detection of Salmonella in some tahini products at the same production facility. product on an order that would have shipped to you June 8th, 2018. For any item with the below serial number, all product should be discarded immediately. Lot codes can best be found on the lids/caps of product.

  • 071318CH (chocolate produced with lot 18-123).

Full refunds will be offered to anyone who purchased Tahini from deliveries dating September 24th & November 21st, 2018. Receipts are ideal for Owners (but sales can be pulled up on POS); Non-Owners must present a receipt. We will be reaching out to all Owners affected who purchased a Soom Foods product under this recall.

NOTE: These item should not be returned to the store.
